Mildewy and unimpressed with the owner's hospitality and approach to remedy the experience. Positive: It was clean and newly remodeled. New appliances, nice fridge, good wifi. It's a pet friendly place so that is nice too. Negative: It's a basement apartment and smelled of mildew/mold. The property listing on booking.com does not specify that it's a basement apartment. There is not a washer or dryer in the unit. I found the listing to be misleading in that way. There was as washer/dryer in a separate building for all of their short term renters to use. The owner was unpleasant on the phone with me when I called with trouble finding the code to get in. When I let her know about my displeasure with the unit, the listing and the loud tenant above me she chose to argue with me first and wouldn't eat the additional cleaning fee to move me to a vacant unit on the property. I was very unimpressed with the entire experience.
