Balloon Festival

The Spirit of Boise Balloon Classic is one of Boise's most beloved annual traditions, filling the skies with vibrant hot air balloons each Labor Day weekend. Held at Ann Morrison Park, the five-day festival has been delighting families and visitors since 1991 with breathtaking early morning balloon launches, colorful balloon displays, live entertainment, food vendors, and special events for all ages. One of the festival's highlights is the spectacular Nite Glow, where illuminated balloons light up the evening sky in a synchronized display. Admission is free, making it a favorite community event that showcases Boise's welcoming spirit and creates unforgettable memories for thousands of spectators each year.
